This divided into three groups. firstly there are the tools that are used for measuring, aligning or centering. Then there are various methods of doing things. Thirdly there are the problems that have to be solved.
What tools are is obvious but the distinction between methods and problems is that for most problems there are several ways the problem might be solved – these are the methods.
