Making splines – links
This is in two parts. The first makes splines good enough for gear trains used on lathes and milling machines where the demand on the spline are not high. In this case only the male part was made since it was needed to fit gears that were already splined. Also a short cut has been used. Doing this properly is covered on the next page.
